In Hoehyeon-dong, at the foot of Namsan Mountain, there is a place that has won the hearts of many noodle eaters with only one menu, ‘Dan Dan Noodle’. Despite the small number of tables, people line up to try the Dan Dan Noodle here, and it is even listed in the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand every year. Kumsan Noodle Factory, a restaurant specializing in Dan Dan Noodle by Chef Chang-Wook Jung, is a place that presents attractive Japanese-style Dan Dan Noodle by applying his own color to high-quality noodles that are pulled out every day.

In 2017, Chef Chang-Wook Jung, who used to offer a variety of dishes through Bistro Chaugi, opened Kumsan Noodle Factory, a Japanese-style Dan Dan Noodle restaurant that focused on only one menu.

How to cook:

1. Put the frozen sauce and meat garnish in boiling water and boil for 1 minute.
2. Put plenty of water in another pot and bring to boil, then cook the thawed raw noodles for about 2 minutes.
3. Do not rinse the cooked noodles in cold water, just drain the water and place them in a bowl.
4. Pour the sauce into the bowl containing the noodles, top with the garnish, and mix well with the chili oil and sesame oil.

Tip. Depending on your preference, add sesame seeds, shredded green onions and egg yolks to make it even more delicious.

How to Cook
냉동상태의 소스와 고기 고명을 봉지째 끓는 물에 넣고 1분간 중탕합니다.
다른 냄비에 물을 넉넉히 넣고 끓인 뒤 해동된 생면을 약 2분 정도 익혀 주세요.
익은 면은 찬물에 헹구지 않고, 물기만 제거해 그릇에 담아주세요.
면을 담은 그릇에 소스를 붓고, 고명을 올린 후 고추기름과 참기름을 넣어 잘 비벼주세요.

Tip 기호에 따라 깨, 채 썬 대파, 계란노른자, 식포 등을 추가해 드시면 더욱 맛있습니다.
